Unaccompanied Minor Program

The Unaccompanied Minor Program offered by Delta Airlines requires a fee of $150 USD/CAD/EUR one way, with CAD and EUR used when departing Canada or Europe. This fee applies to International travel as well as travel within the United States on both direct and connecting flights, in addition to the ticketed adult fare.

• The $150 fee is mandatory for children ages 5-14, and for 15-17-year-olds if a guardian chooses to enroll in the unaccompanied minor program.
• The fee covers up to 4 children if multiple children, such as siblings, are traveling together.
• The fee can be paid one-way or round-trip at the time of check in or in advance by calling.

Age restrictions

• Children under 4 years cannot fly alone.
• Children aged 5-7 years may travel on some nonstop flights only.
• Children aged 8-14 years may travel on some nonstop and connecting flights.
• Children ages 15-17 are permitted to travel as a standard passenger, provided they can present a valid ID to security personnel. If parents or guardians prefer, they can also travel as an unaccompanied minor.
