Among the 150 recorded plant species in the park, 45 are native. The only mammals found in park are carnivores and rodents. In addition, there are three reptile species and 4 avifauna species found in the park.

Ahu Tongariki
Featuring 15 gigantic stone-carved moai that are lined up on a long platform, Ahu Tongariki is a spectacular spot that also boasts a remote location framed by the Rano Raraku volcano and the crashing ocean. It is the largest ceremonial site ever made on Easter Island. Ahu Tongariki features the largest number of moai ever built on a single site.

Hanga Roa
The sole town and home to the only airport in Eater Island, Hanga Roa is the certain starting point for the tourists in this island. It is the focal point of the local life in Easter Island. Almost all of the hotels, shops, restaurants, and tourist services of the island can be found here.
