This is where the city of Curitiba was born on 29 March 1693 AD. Tiradentes Square is the most historical place in the city and was earlier known as Largo da Matriz but it was changed to its current name in 1889 AD. You should visit it for Basilica Cathedral Minor of Our Lady of Light (estd: 1876 AD) that lies on the north of this square and is made in Neo-Gothic style.
