Asklepieion
An ancient medical center located around kilometers to the southeast of the town, Asklepieion dates back to the first half of the 3rd century BC. The center was built to honor Asklepieion, the god of health and medicine, after the demise of Hippocrates, a famous ancient Greek physician. It is located on the top of a verdant hill offering spectacular views of Kos and its suburbs.

Roman Odeon
Built by Romans in around 2nd and 3rd centuries, Roman Odeon is an ancient Odeon found in the early 20the century along with the Roman baths and the Gymnasium. All of the findings are still in well-preserved condition. The first nine rows of the Odeon are still the original marble ones while others were restored. The best part of this complex is that all the important findings in the excavations here can be explored on foot as they are located close to each other.

Kos Mastichari Beach
Located at a distance of around 27 kilometers from Kos town, Kos Mastichari Beach features white sands and emerald waters offering the beach an exotic atmosphere. There are colorful sun-beds and umbrellas and several water-sport opportunities at the center of the beach. Kos Mastichari Beach lies around the natural bay and offers a plethora of tourist amenities such as accommodations, shops, restaurants, and bars.
