It has now doubled up as a living museum that focuses on life and contributions of early Hispanic settlers in the Taos Valley in 1820s.

Harwood Museum of Art

Founded in 1923, the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos is the second oldest art museum in New Mexico. It would wow you with its remarkable collection of over 1700 works of art and 17000 photographic images related to the history of Taos between 18th and 20th century. You should take time to appreciate its 100 year old Spanish Colonial Revival artworks and the sacred images of Roman Catholicism.
