As per a report in The Shreveport Times, Allegiant Air has started the flight reservations for direct flights from Shreveport Regional Airport to Destin. The airline will offer this flight service twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. According to a Shreveport Regional Airport Facebook post, the first flight will depart from Shreveport Regional Airport on 17th May 2019. This service is presently scheduled to continue through 2nd September 2019.
