The Imperial Palace

A former imperial garden, Beihai Park is a public park in the north-western part of the Imperial City. The largest among all the Chinese gardens, this park boasts a number of historically significant structures, temples, and palaces. Beihai Park, since 1925, has been open to the public as a park.

Temple of Heaven

Dating back to 1420, Temple of Heaven incorporates a group of the city's holiest buildings. These lovely old temples are surrounded by lush vegetation and are set out in two sections- one semicircular and the other is circular, which together symbolize heaven and earth.
