Best Friends Animal Society
Spread across 3800 acres, five miles out of Kanab, Best Friends Animal Society is the largest sanctuary and no-kill animal rescue centre in America. Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument has acres of protected land in Utah and encompasses the largest land area of all US National Monuments. It evolved on world map after a large number of dinosaur fossils were found here in 2000. Also was found here a 75-million-year-old dinosaur fossil that belonged to a 75 million year old dinosaur called G. monumentensis that measured at least 30 feet in length and its jaw had more than 800 teeth.

Moqui Cave
Moqui Cave is a sandstone erosion cave located about 5 miles north of Kanab, Utah. Some 19th century archaeological excavations have shown that Native Americans used it as a shelter. It was later purchased and turned into a tavern, dance hall, and then into a museum in 1960s. As a museum, it is now home to a remarkable collection of American Indian artifacts, fluorescent minerals, fossils, pottery, spear points, and art, and 140 million years old dinosaur tracks.
