Trou aux Cerfs is a 605 meters high extinct volcano in Curepipe, Mauritius. This crater has been described as 300 meters in diameter, and is 85 meters deep and is considered one of the main attractions of Curepipe. In its center is a small lake. From the view point on the crater one can enjoy stunning view of major part of Mauritius Island.

Gabriel Island

Also known as Ilot Gabriel, Gabriel Island is located near the Round Island and the Flat Island at the extreme north of the country. This island is a protected natural reserve and is popular for its crystal clear water and unspoiled beaches. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling here. The island also offers excellent dive sites and is a perfect destination for relaxing with friends and family.
