Bujumbura

The capital and the largest city of Burundi, Bujumbura is located on the north-eastern shore of Lake Tanganyika, which is the second deepest lake in the world. It is the main port of the country. The city features a tropical savanna climate with distinct dry and wet seasons. The wet season in Bujumbura is from October through April and the remaining five months are of dry season.
