Gasadalur is a village on the west side of Vagar. The village offers a

Mykinesfjordur, Gasadalur is surrounded by the highest mountains on Vagar.
Among these imposing mountains, Eysturtindur is 715 meters high and
Arnafjall soars to an elevation of 722 meters to the north. In 1940, a
stairway was constructed from the beach up to the village.
