The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), in its recent announcement, has stated that 8 airlines will launch 40 extra flights to Morocco as of summer 2019. These airlines are easyJet, Ryanair, Turkish Airlines, Air Arabia, Vueling Airlines, Transavia, Volotea Airlines and Condor Airlines. With 19 new flights, Marrakesh will be the city to get the most numbers of new flights among all the destinations.

Bordering the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Morocco is located in northern Africa. Morocco is a culturally diverse ancient land with a heavenly landscape. Berber, European, Moorish, and Arabian influences contribute to its linguistic, culinary, and architectural variety. The country hosts a number of fascinating events and festivals annually such as Fez Festival of World Sacred Music, Kelaa des Mgouna Rose Festival, Marrakesh Popular Arts Festival, Marathon des Sables, and Essaouira Gnaoua and World Music Festival. A former French colony, the country is lined with French colonial buildings, opulent palaces, centuries-old medinas (old city center), intricate mosques, hammams, tombs, and shrines reflecting its heritage. Major landmarks in Morocco include Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Great Mosque of Sale, Kasbah of the Udayas, Mosque of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Grand Mosque of Chefchaouen, and El Glaoui Palace at Taourirt Kasbah. While here, adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers can enjoy camel trekking in the stunning Saharan Dunes, trekking the towering peaks of High Atlas, exploring the Hercules Cave, and taking a dip in the Cascades d’Akchour- all before sweating it out in a hammam.
