The Allentown Art Museum

The Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley is a famous art museum in Allentown. It has a world-class collection of over 13000 works of art related to European art, American art, textiles and drawings. This is notwithstanding more than 16000 titles and 40 current periodicals that are found in the museum’s library and archives. A star attraction here is a group of 53 Renaissance and Baroque paintings and sculptures that were gifted to the museum in 1959.

Burnside Plantation

The Burnside Plantation is a late 18th century farm and living history museum in Bethlehem. It was once a part of an old Native American Village and now showcases regional farming practices prevalent during 1750s and 1850s. This is seconded by a display of Moravian farmers’ lifestyle of 18th century and some early American artifacts.
