Museum of Permafrost
A winner of multiple Pan-European awards, the Museum of Permafrost remains at a subzero temperature throughout the year. The beauty of ice formation and build-up here admirable and the star attraction here are the frozen ice plants and some remains of older trees that have since perished. There is also a unique collection of ice collected from the Ice Mountain and dates back to fifty thousand years. Few other attractions here are stuffed regional animals, household items of indigenous people here and the history of polar aviation here.
