Cheap Isafjordur Vacation Packages
Isafjordur is the biggest town of the Westfjords of Iceland (which are incidentally also the coolest region in Iceland at sea level) and the seat of Isafjardarbær municipality. Earlier a small Icelandic town renowned for its three hundred year old houses and shipping hub, it has now evolved into a bustling metropolis offering multiple sightseeing and adventure sports options. Isafjordur has all that you would come looking for- a naturally beautiful fjord, historic harbor, museum, old timber houses, adventure sports (kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, skiing and biking) and bird watching.

Vigur Island
As the numero uno attraction and the Icelandic paradise in Isafjordur, Vigur Island offers a fantastically diverse birdlife and a pleasant boating tour as a precursor to its admirable beauty. Other attractions here include a 200 year old stone wall that was built to protect large sea ducks (called Common Eider) during the period they lay and hatch their eggs.
