Peoria is a city in Illinois and is the county seat of Peoria County, US. It is beautifully situated on a steep hill next to Illinois River amidst remarkable scenery and offers a contrasting cityscape and buzzing nightlife to its visitors. Lakeview Museum
Lakeview Museum is Peoria's regional museum, which focuses on art and science through rotating galleries that change every few months. The museum features regional folk art, Picasso’s pottery, and a large Ansel Adams exhibit.
Wheels O' Time
Unlike all other museums in the city, the Wheels O’ Time is a mechanical engineer’s paradise. It has a wide collection of antique clocks, carnival machines, old washing machines, a train and antique cars etc. The central attraction here is the mechanical ‘Barbershop Quartet’ where the rubber-headed foursome of US Presidents sends an animated message of cooperation to all political rivals.
Wildlife Prairie State Park
The Wildlife Prairie State Park is home to numerous buffaloes, elks, wolves, and many other prairie animals. It also has a miniature zoo where snakes and amphibians are kept. A toy train ride gives you a round of the entire park. Visitors can also enjoy hiking & fishing here.
