Eskers Provincial Park
A day-use park located around 40 kilometers northwest of Prince George. The park includes around 3,979 hectares of gently rolling topography and a number of lakes. Eskers Provincial Park conserves a portion of 40 kilometers long Stuart River Eskers Complex, for which the park is named. Visitors can enjoy nature study, walking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, and wildlife viewing.
Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum
Opened in 1986, Prince George Railway and Forestry Museum is located in the heart of Prince George. The collection in the museum includes more than sixty pieces of rolling stock, nine historical buildings, and a number of smaller artifacts on an 8-acre site. A 1906 steam locomotive is the major attraction of the museum.
