country. The city is located near the eastern tip of Lake Issyk-Kul, around

from Bishkek. The city is known for its upscale resorts and traditional
buildings.
Osh
Also spelled Os, Osh is the second largest city in Kyrgyzstan. The city is
in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country. Often referred to as the
"Capital of the South," Osh is the oldest city in the country. The city
boasts an ethnically mixed population including Uzbeks, Kyrgyz, Tajiks,
Russians, and other smaller ethnic groups. Osh is located around 5 km away
from the Uzbekistan border.
