St. George (also known as An?aaxchalux? in Aleut: language) is a city in Aleutians West Census Area, Alaska, United States. It is the main settlement area of St. George Island in the Pribilofs, a small island group in the Bering Sea. St George is located at 56°36?20?N 169°33?35?W at 430 feet above sea level.
It is spread across 182.4 square miles out of which 34.8 square miles is land and rest is water.
The city is served by St George Airport. It is located 5 miles from the city and offers flights to Anchorage and St. Paul through PenAir airlines.
