Hyderabad is the capital of the state of Telangana and de jure capital of Andhra Pradesh in India. Also of note is the 17th century Golconda Fort that has a spread of over 10 kilometers and has 87 semicircular bastions, eight gateways, and four drawbridges plus several royal apartments and halls, temples, mosques, magazines and stables.
