Tennessee in the US, was co-founded in 1819 by Andrew Jackson who would
later become the country's seventh President. Memphis is known as the home

Graceland
The Graceland is the former personal estate of music icon Elvis Presley. It

14 acres, it was bought by Elvis in 1957 and features his former home,
personal belongings and his tomb. Graceland is bordered at some distance by
another building having his favorite cars and two airplanes.
Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum
Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum is a famous Smithsonian institute focusing on
the history of music in Memphis from the 1930s to the 1970s. It has 7
galleries showcasing costumes, musical instruments, early days of the city,
and clippings of rural music. All these galleries offer a guided digital
audio tour.
National Civil Rights Museum
The National Civil Rights Museum is in the Lorraine Motel where Martin
Luther King Jr. was shot dead in 1968. This museum houses an extraordinary
display of numerous interactive displays, documents and artifacts related
to the history of Civil Rights Movement.
