Miami is a popular tourist destination in the south of Florida, on the

Beaches
Laze around on the famous beaches of Miami and let time away. Miami Beach
is the center of activity in the city. For a quieter time, seek out beaches
like the Surfside Beach which has biking and walking paths and is ideal to
go for a stroll or ride. There are a handful of dog friendly beaches as
well, Bark Beach and Hobie Beach, to take your four-legged friends.
Downtown
The urban core of the city, Downtown is the heart of culture in Miami.
Downtown was one of the earliest neighborhoods to be developed in the 1890s
and has an array of historic buildings and public places. You can visit the
Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) which is the city’s flagship art venue and
the Meetinghouse Art and Collective Gallery which showcases exhibitions,
holds screenings and even lectures. Walk along the Miami Riverwalk and see
the landmark buildings like the Freedom Tower and the Olympia Theater.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Home of James Deering, the Vizcaya Museum was built in 1916 and is a
National Historic Landmark. It is an Italian Renaissance-style villa which
houses European furniture and impressive decorative arts from 15 th to 19th centuries. It took over 1,100 workers to
complete the mansion and special attention was paid to authenticity in
design. The mansion has 34 rooms which surround a central courtyard and the
gardens are beautifully landscaped. Elegant French and Italian fountains
and sculptures can be found on the grounds. Gardens here are beautifully
landscaped.
Best Time to Visit Miami
Miami has decent weather all year round but the best time to book flights
from Mexico City to Miami is from December to May. Winter season in Miami
is great if you want to escape the freezing temperatures. Art Basel Week
takes place in December, South Beach Food Wine Festival takes place in
February and the Ultra Music Festival takes place in March. It is advised
to book Miami flights in advance to avoid paying high rates at the last
minute.
