San Francisco (implying Saint Francis in Spanish language) is a scenic
bayside city located in the state of California in the US. Founded by
Spanish colonists in June 1776, it is an alpha zone of picture-perfect
natural scenery, summer fog, and the birthplace of the United Nations.

Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge is the first things that comes to mind when one
talks about San Francisco. It was built between 1933 and 1937 is and had
debuted as the longest bridge in the world. This 1.2-mile-long suspension
bridge runs across the Golden Gate strait between San Francisco Bay and the
Pacific Ocean.
Fisherman's Wharf
A food enthusiast’s dream destination, the Fisherman's Wharf is a historic
waterfront dotted with several restored 19th century ships and
seafood restaurants. This more than 100-year old attraction is where people
often come to spend a weekend and to visit its Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
and a Second World War-era submarine (called USS Pampanito).
Alcatraz Island
Located about 1.25 miles away from San Francisco, the Alcatraz Island in
San Francisco Bay is where some of the most notorious criminal offenders of
the United States history were incarcerated. This site is now just a
long-abandoned (and possibly a haunted) prison house that also hosts the
oldest operating lighthouse on the West Coast of the United States.
