this interesting museum also features a butterfly center, a planetarium,

The Museum of Fine Arts
Museum of Fine Arts is one of the largest fine art museums in the country.
It is home to a vast variety of European, American, Far Eastern, and
African art covering approximately 6,000 years. It features 63,000 works,
which incorporates French Impressionist and Italian Renaissance paintings,
European and American decorative arts, a distinguished range of African and
pre-Columbian gold, and notches of fine sculptures.
Space Center Houston
Space Center Houston, the official Visitor Center of NASA's Lyndon B.
Johnson Space Center, is located around 25 miles southeast of the city on
the western side of Clear Lake. The center is home to an exciting space
exhibition with film shows, illustrations of moon rocks, models of space
capsules, astronaut's rations, and an arrangement of objects collected in
Gemini, Mercury, and Apollo space programs.
