instruments, gold records, and memorabilia of famous music artists.
The Parthenon
Located in the Centennial Park in Nashville is a faithful replica of the
Greek Parthenon. It was originally built of wood in 1897 to commemorate the
state's centenary but was subsequently rebuilt using concrete and cement.
It houses a full-scale replica of the original Greek temple and a permanent
collection of over 60 artworks by several noted 19th- and 20th-century
American artists.
