Toksook Bay (known as Nunakauyaq Tuksuk in Central Alaskan Yup'ik language) is a city and village on Nelson Island in Alaska. It is situated at 60°31?50?N 165°06?12?W and follows the Alaskan Time Zone besides observing daylight saving time. It was established in 1964 and almost entirely comprises of Alaskan Natives. Its nearest communities are Tununak and Nightmute that lie 6 miles and 13 miles away from Toksook Bay respectively.
The city is served by Toksook Bay Airport (IATA: OOK). It is a state-owned, public-use airport that is located one nautical mile due east of the central business district of Toksook Bay. It offers scheduled flights to the city of Bethel in Alaska through Ravn Alaska airlines.
