course, riverside walking trails, and the Zilker Playscape that is a large

Lady Bird Lake
A section of Colorado River, Lady Bird Lake offers excellent recreational
areas. The shoreline is lined with hotels and trails for cyclists and
pedestrians. Zilker park is on the south shore of the lake. Canoeing and
kayaking can also be done in Lady Bird Lake.
Bullock Texas State History Museum
Bullock Texas State History Museum depicts the story of Texas through a
range of interactive displays, films, and audio-video displays. IMAX
theater of the museum shows educational and popular films. Major exhibits
at Bullock Texas State History Museum include exhibits on history of Texas
oil industry, the fall of the Alamo, and Tejano culture.
Best Time to Fly to Austin
September to November or March to May are the best times to book flight
from Atlanta to Austin. During these months, the daytime temperatures are
soothing hence it is recommended to book flight from ATL to AUS during
these periods to enjoy pleasant weather. As temperatures mount with high
humidity, the summer (June through August) is barely tolerable for
visitors. Winters months (from December to February) are relatively mild
and dry.
