Seattle, a major seaport city on the West Coast of the United States, is
the largest city in the state of Washington and the Pacific Northwest
region of North America. The city sits on an isthmus between Puget Sound
and Lake Washington and lies about 100 miles away from the Canada-United
States border. Seattle enjoys a picturesque backdrop of a river, some
rolling hills and a few evergreen woodlands. City’s skyline is dominated by
Space Needle, a 605 feet high observation tower made exclusively for the
1962 World’s Fair.
