Charlotte is the most populous city in the state of North Carolina. It is
the county seat of Mecklenburg County in the US. The city is located in the
hilly area of Piedmont and derives its name from the wife of King George
II. Like most of the Americana cities, Charlotte’s Uptown is the place for
all history freaks where they can indulge themselves with the city’s sheer
number and variance of museums. Some of the major highlights here are
Charlotte Museum of History, Rosedale Plantation, and the NASCAR Hall of
Fame.
