Amman Citadel

St. George's Cathedral
St. George's Cathedral, located on the street Mansour, is a Catholic
religious building of the Melkite or Byzantine Greek rite under the
authority of the Pope in Rome. This holy church serves as the headquarters
of Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Petra and Philadelphia in Amman.
Besides its spiritual significance, this church is also an architectural
delight.

from March to May. During these months, the weather of the city is pleasant
