Buen Retiro Park (Parque del Retiro)
Buen Retiro Park is situated in the heart of the city of Madrid. Spread
over 120-hectare of area, the park offers an escape from the hustle-bustle
of the city life. Created for the Count-Duke of Olivares in the 17th
century, the historic park has lovely landscaping and tree-lined paths. The
park features Rose Garden (Rosaleda), Don Cecilio Garden (Jardin de Don
Cecilio), Crystal Palace (Palacio de Cristal), fountains, open-air cafes,
& an observatory.

The best time to book flights from Los Angeles to Madrid is in the spring
(March - May ) and fall season ( September - November). when balmy temps
blow through the city, making it come alive. But if you don't mind drab
weather and a rather listless Madrid, visit in the winter when hotels
reduce their rates. Peak tourist season is summer, despite nearly
unbearable heat. It’s recommended to book flights from LAX to MAD in
