New York City, also called New York or NYC, is the most populous city and
the most densely populated major city in the United States. This waterside
city located in its namesake state along the Hudson River is famous as a

Statue of Liberty
Statue of Liberty, gifted by France to the US in 1886, stands as the
national symbol of freedom and liberty. It is a 305-foot-high neoclassical
structure is located on the Liberty Island in New York Harbor. This statue
is the first thing that welcomes anyone into the city. Statue of Liberty
depicts a Roman goddess called Libertas who stands with a torch in her
right hand and a tablet marked the date on which the US declared
independence from colonial Britain.
Chrysler Building
Chrysler Building is the world’s tallest brick building that stands on a
steel structure. The building measures 1046-feet from ground to its top
spire and is constructed in typical Art Deco architecture. Chrysler
Building was the world's tallest building in 1931 before it was overtaken
by the Empire State Building.
Brooklyn Bridge
Brooklyn Bridge, built during 1869 and 1883, is the world’s first
steel-wire suspension bridge located in New York City. It is also among the
oldest roadway bridges in the country. The bridge connects the island of
Manhattan to the borough of Brooklyn over the East River. Brooklyn Bridge
has 6 lanes of roadways where only cars are allowed.
Best Time to Visit New York City
The best times to book flights from New Orleans to New York City are the
spring and falls seasons from March to May and September to November
respectively. By visiting during this season, tourists can attend the New
York Film Festival, New York City Marathon and St. Patrick’s Day Parade. If
booking for the peak season, it is advisable to book New York City flights
